From 2015 to 2017, this 1928 engine shop hosted The Day Shall Declare It, its cast members, technical team, audience members and speakeasy bar patrons. And now, the Paradise Shipping Company last summer is no more. All that remains: bricks, dust, steel scraps, chain-link fence, sweat, blood, tears, memory, desire.

We celebrate the space, breath and life it gave to us. We look forward to celebrating many new spaces, abandoned engine shops, warehouses, movie palaces, across Los Angeles for many years to come.
